Beachcombing Glass Balls in Gold Beach

Most of the time, leaving glass items behind on a beach would bring on bad karma, a reprimand from those around you, and possibly a ticket for littering. When these items are sturdy handblown glass, reminiscent of old fishing net bobbers, it’s another story altogether. Starting in February and lasting through April, beachcombers in Gold Beach should be on the lookout for these glass treasures, which are hidden in plain sight each week and can be kept as a souvenir.

True collectors will be roaming the beaches in February, when the glass-blowers make the balls in Valentine red. We think that’s a prime opportunity for all coast-loving lovers to plan a Valentines’ date their sweeties will never forget!
