Ski Season is On! (Mt Hood)

With its earliest season opening in over a decade, Mt. Hood Meadows kicks the season off today, welcoming skiers with four open runs. Mt. Hood Express, Shooting Star Express, Easy Rider, Buttercup and the Ballroom Carpet in the Fun Zone will run from 9am – 4pm. The much awaited Shipyard rail park will also make its debut! With a current snow base around 30″, folks should still expect the usual early-season conditions and expect unmarked obstacles. Lift tickets on opening day are running at $52, $30 for juniors (age 7 – 14) with excellent season pass values for kids under 6.
