Get your urban adventure on and satisfy that caffeine craving with a bike ride around the city. There’s no shortage of coffee shops around Portland, but with a little strategy you can get in a good ride and enjoy the unique flavor and feel of four distinctly different neighborhoods. At the corner of NW 14th & Kearney, Urban Grind Coffee features their own fresh roasted coffees in an amply spaced, quintessentially Pearl location. Head to the eastside and hit the Mississippi neighborhood for a a stop at The Fresh Pot where you’re certain to get a hearty dose of hipster love with your coffee. A 15 minute ride over to the Alberta Arts District lands you at Random Order on Alberta and 18th. In addition to a fine shot of espresso they offer among the best homemade pie in the city and an ever-changing show of artwork and handmade goodies. Last stop is Floyd’s Coffee Shop in southeast PDX at 15th and Morrison. Crawlin’ with locals, this is indy neighborhood coffee at its finest.
