Skibowl’s Downhill Biking (Mt Hood)
Bike Routes & Trails, Northwest Oregon — By admin on September 2, 2009 4:44 pm
Like a mini-Whistler, Skibowl’s downhill biking trails give big-suspension riders a close-to-home destination for a dose of adrenalineon the downhill biking trails. Through September, the lift operates Saturdays and Sundays 10am to 7pm, and thirty bucks will get you a full day of drops, jumps and singletrack. The trail network is not huge, but the terrain varies enough to keep things interesting, and the lift makes for quick laps, giving you the chance to practice and perfect the more challenging aspects. For those who want the downhill thrill without the sweat, Skibowl’s alpine slide is open at the same time. Rental bikes are available if you want to save the wear and tear on your own suspension (downhill protective gear can be rented too, to save wear and tear on your body!)
