Camping at Nehalem Bay

Nehalem Bay State Park is an awesome place to camp!  There are all kind of things to do and it’s a perfect place for bike riding.  You can ride to get wood, to the bathroom, the park, a beautiful bay with lots of drift wood, to the ocean beach and a even a place where you can see an airplane land.  But I think the best part is seeing the wildlife. When I saw the deer there I was amazed!  (We were about 7 to 8 feet away from those deer!)  I had never been that close to any wildlife before. I would definitely recommend this park for kids to go camping with their families.  Just remember that it can get really cold at night and sometimes the beach is super windy. - Junior Adventurist: Unity D., age 11 (Portland, OR)
